Mark your calendars for Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 1–5 PM, and join us at Pomona by Hillwood (4545 Pomona Parkway, Manvel, TX) for a feel-good afternoon that brings the community together in the spirit of wellness and gratitude.
This family-friendly wellness experience is all about moving with purpose, tasting the season, and giving back to Houston’s littlest hearts.
Here’s what’s in store:
👟 Walk for Gratitude — Take a mindful stroll through scenic Pomona as we celebrate the season of thanks.
Slow down, connect, have meaningful conversations, participate in activities together and create memories that last a lifetime! Along the route you’ll find:
✨ A Community Art Mural Walk
✨ Cultural craft stations
✨ Family fitness challenges & mini obstacle courses
✨ Professional family photo ops
✨ Wellness & mindfulness activities
✨ “Planting in Honor” tribute station
🍴 Taste the Season — Sample festive fall bites that’ll make your taste buds dance.
💛 Give Back to Houston’s Littlest Hearts — Support Kids’ Meals, Inc., which delivers healthy meals to preschool-aged children facing food insecurity across Houston.
We’ll kick things off with a Thanksgiving Taste-Off 🍴 and wrap up the day with an End Zone Celebration featuring live music, vendor booths, turkey giveaways, and even prizes for the best-dressed walkers (yes, turkeys welcome 🦃).
💡 WHY IT MATTERS:
Kids’ Meals is ending childhood hunger by delivering FREE, healthy meals to the doorsteps of Greater Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children and through collaboration providing their families with resources to help end the cycle of poverty. Kids’ Meals is the ONLY home meal delivery program in the nation for poverty-stricken preschool-aged children. Each weekday, we deliver over 10,000 free, healthy meals to Houston’s hungriest preschool-aged children. When school is out, every child up to age 18 in these homes also receives a healthy meal from Kids’ Meals – that’s over 16,000 meals per day.

If you can’t attend, you can still make a difference — we’ll deliver meals to toddlers in your honor.
Get ready for the Give Thanks Thanks Family Fun Day — Party with a Purpose!
1:00 pm with live music, dancing and free food samples and free wine tastings WHILE SUPPLIES LAST. Pomona Elementary School Choir and a Schoolhouse Rock will be performing.
2:30 pm Then take an interactive stroll filled with gratitude stations, heartwarming surprises, bubble play pilates, stretch massages, family photo ops, gardening stations - you can even plant in honor of your loved ones!
3:30 pm Don't miss taking a photo with Paw Patrol’s Chase. He will be there until 4:30pm. We will party it up with a live DJ, face painting, pie eating contest, turkey crafts, vendors, turkey giveaways and more.

The first 75 people who register and donate $20 or more will receive exclusive access to sample Thanksgiving-inspired food and wine before the walk begins!
